Egg-cellent Easter fun at Camera Obscura!

With the Easter holidays approaching and the days getting longer, it’s time for some fun!

Hop along this Easter with the whole family and enjoy a fun-packed visit at Camera Obscura & World of Illusions, open 8am-10pm every day of the Easter holidays. If you’re an early-bunny get 20% off tickets for entry before 9am when booked in advance online here

From 1st-16th April families (and big kids too!) can enjoy an Easter trail around the five floors of our attraction. The Easter Bunny has lost some of his eggs amongst our 100 interactive exhibits! Pick up an egg-hunting card and stay alert as you make your way around the attraction to help the Easter Bunny find all his eggs. Then hop down to the gift shop for an egg-cellent sweet treat as a reward.

Themed decorations and seasonal projections are hatching out everywhere. Make sure to stop by our Giant Kaleidosphere and make chick-tastic pictures at the Colour Shadow Wall. Our panoramic Rooftop Terrace remains open all year. See Edinburgh’s as you’ve never seen it before, the best vantage point for a selfie with Edinburgh Castle. Visitors can follow in the Easter Bunny’s footsteps and have their own go at walking through our attraction's famous Vortex Tunnel, one of our many mind-bending exhibits available to try.

Our team of guides have a spring in their step and are available throughout your visit, sharing information and helping you with anything you might need. You’d be hopping-mad to miss out! We have space to leave prams in our buggy park on the ground floor and baby carriers (of varying sizes) available to borrow; just ask one of the front desk staff about this and they'll be able to help you out.

Camera Obscura was voted the best Visitor Attraction Experience in Edinburgh and Lothians at the 2023 Scottish Thistle Awards. Book your visit online here!

We will be posting throughout the holidays so make sure to follow us on FacebookInstagram, TikTok and Twitter to see all of our cracking antics!
