Visitors to Edinburgh are being invited to ‘Shake It Off’ at Camera Obscura & World of Illusions from the 3rd – 10th June in celebration of the pop sensation Taylor Swift, who performs her ‘Eras’ tour at Murrayfield Stadium this weekend.

Visitors to Camera Obscura & World of Illusions will see Taylor Swift in a whole new light, with the unveiling of a new, one-of-a-kind, colourful video display in the attractions famous Giant Kaleidosphere. The video shows the pop icon experiencing Edinburgh’s most famous landmarks. From Edinburgh Castle and Greyfriars Bobby to Bagpipes and Tartan Bonnet, Taylor has embraced all things Scottish!

This unique new exhibit has been designed by our in-house team to specially celebrate the pop star. Visitors can marvel at our Giant Kaleidosphere which is the first interactive experience in the entrance area.

On the weekend of the concerts we will be open from 9am-9pm on Friday and Sunday and 9am-10pm on Saturday.

Our General Manager Andrew said ‘It’s fantastic that our talented in-house team can create new, unique experiences and exhibits for everyone to enjoy. We love sharing quirky ways to see the world a new light and hope our ‘Swiftie’ visitors will share our enjoyment of this fun way to enjoy Taylor’s visit to Edinburgh.’

The immersive experience in our Giant Kaleidosphere will only be available to see from 3-10 June 2024.
