New exhibits
We have many new exciting exhibits, like ‘walk on water’ - an interactive virtual fish tank on the floor that reacts to you stepping in it. See and hear yourself make waves. Try to catch the fish that unerringly swim away from your grasp.
We also have recently installed a luminous green Crackle ball, one of only three in the world. You will come accross some amazing optical illusions, which we have recently added and many other things.
Last but no least is our new Infra red camera- a thermal camera imaging which picks up heat and displays it as a colour image on a large screen. You can explore your thermal image on our plasma screen- find your 'hot spots' and see yourself in a whole new way.
We are also entering a new phase of development which will allow us to extend our attraction and add many more exciting exhibits. The work started in August 2007 and we intend to have this major refurbishment of the attraction ready for 2009.

Ghost Fest Event
We are now selling tickets for Ghostfest 2008. In 2007, paranormal investigators investigated the Camera Obscura and Ragged School for the first time. Scottish Paranormal, Ghosthunters Scotland, and two teams from the USA including the Transatlantic Paranormal Society carried out intensive studies, with lots of unexplained findings, from voices to moving objects and a face appearing in thin air. So we are officially haunted. As a follow on from these investigations there are limited places on the following events:
Thursday 15th May- Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) event in the Ragged School, Time: 8- 10pm, £20 per ticket, maximum number 20
Saturday 17th May- Midnight Investigation in Ragged School. Time: 11pm- 2am. £20 per ticket, Maximum number 20
More events to follow. Do come and join us.
