HORROR-GRAMS

Holography is now an almost everyday phenomenon present in our day to day lives. For example, telephones, credit cards and some bank notes use holography of one kind or another usually as a means of security as holograms are very difficult for a counterfieter to copy.

Holograms are also an art form.  Art can of course be beautiful but it can also be terrifying. Our hologram display contains images of classic horror characters such as Dracula, the Mummy Dr Frankenstein's monster and the Werewolf.  Come back in time with us to discover a T-Rex; don't get too close however as it can claw the air and swing its head and tail. If this does not chill you to the bone you can always meet our tarantula. This giant spider projects 5 feet into the room, enough to make the bravest shiver.

ANACHROPHOBES BEWARE!
The giant tarantula is in the centre of the exhibition so you are safe up to this point.

Parental discretion for younger visitors may be advisable on some the scarier holograms .

I love the part with illusions & holograms the most. It's always so much fun - I've been to this camera obscura for the third time, I always take my friends there when they come to visit me in Edinburgh!

Having the kids fully engaged for two hours with minimal input from me! The staff were, to a man and woman, wonderfully attentive. Thank you for the personal attention.

I learned of this attraction from a taxi driver!! And what a good recommendation that turned out to be. My children also found this attraction very interesting and with the help of the stools, my youngest daughter managed to enjoy everything too. I would highly recommend this attraction and will be returning with more family and friends..........Thank you for a fantastic visit!

I like everything in your museum. Hologram of woman in kimono with harp music on the background was the most wonderful of all things!
